• Host Connectivity: The DM3000H supports various host connections including Universal SFP+ ports for 1/10 GbE NAS/iSCSI or 4/8/16 Gb Fibre Channel (FC), and RJ-45 ports for 1/10 GbE. It also features 4x 10GbE for cluster interconnect.
• Protocols Supported: Supported protocols include NFS and CIFS/SMB for file access, and iSCSI and FC for block access. Other supported protocols are SSH, SNMP, SSL, LDAP, and FCP.
• Expansion Enclosure Connectivity: Connectivity for expansion enclosures is provided via two 12 Gb SAS x4 ports per controller.
• Management Ports: Management is handled through an RJ-45 10/100/1000 Mb Ethernet port for out-of-band management and two serial console ports.
• Other Ports: A USB 2.0 Type A port is available for ONTAP software installation. 

• Form Factor and Drive Support: The array has a 2U rack-mount controller enclosure with 12 LFF hot-swap drive bays. It supports various HDD and SSD types and capacities, including high-capacity nearline HDDs and enterprise SAS HDDs, as well as capacity-optimized SFF SSDs.
• Drive Interface: The drive interface is 12Gb/s SAS.
• Maximum Raw Capacity and Scalability: The maximum raw capacity is up to 2.3 PB, and the system scales up to 144 drives with expansion enclosures. It supports clustering of arrays for NAS or SAN.
• Cache and Pool: It features up to 2TB of onboard NVMe-based flash cache and up to 24TB of Flash Pool.
• RAID Support: The DM3000H supports RAID-4, RAID-DP, and RAID-TEC. 

• Configuration and Memory: The system uses dual active-active controllers with 64 GB RAM and 8 GB battery-backed NVRAM per system.
• OS: It runs on Data ONTAP 9.7 or later. 

• High Availability: The array provides high availability through redundant hot-swap components and automatic failover.
• Data Management and Energy Efficiency: Data management features like SSD read cache, hybrid storage pools, snapshots, and data replication are included with ONTAP software. The system also features Platinum AC power supplies for energy efficiency.
